Abstract
Job Description Position Summary
The Senior Program Support performs administrative support and secretarial functions to senior staff in accordance with Interior Health police: and procedures. Supervises Community integrated Health Services (CIHS) Administrative Services staff. Performs duties such as word processing, payroll functions, data entry, preparing correspondence and reports, responding to inquiries, monitoring expenditures and providing input into the development of policies and procedures, manages staff schedules and arranges meetings.
Qualifications Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience necessary
  • Education, Training and Experience
  • Grade 12.
  • Accredited Office Administration Certificate. (please upload certificate)
  • Three years recent related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to type 50 words per minute. (will be tested)
  • Knowledge of general office procedures
  • Ability to operate related equipment including proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to supervise in an effective manner.
  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
